Arch Dental Implant Placement is a method to restore an entire missing dental arch by simultaneously placing multiple implant posts according to a treatment protocol (typically 4-6 posts per arch) to support a fixed bridge or denture. This is the optimal solution for individuals with multiple tooth loss, extensive full arch weakness, or those for whom removable dentures are no longer satisfactory.
Smilux’s exclusive OTI screw-retained, flapless implant positioning technology is combined with the specialized titanium bar and bio HPP technique. This delivers a more comfortable and less invasive experience.

DENTIST WITH 15+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
With over 15 years of experience in Periodontology and Dental Implantology, MSc – Dr. Le Quang Tuan is known as one of the young, highly skilled, and dedicated dentists in the field of Dentistry.
Graduating from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City and completing a specialized Master’s program in Periodontology, Dr. Tuấn continuously researches and applies advanced implant techniques to provide patients with optimal, safe, and naturally aesthetic restorative solutions.

1. Is the All-on-4/6 Implant procedure painful?
Absolutely not. The entire surgical procedure is performed with the aid of local anesthesia and pre-sedation technology to ensure you are relaxed. You will not feel any pain throughout the process, and the dentist will prescribe pain medication to ensure your comfort in the days following.
2. What is the main difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
All-on-6 utilizes 6 implant posts instead of 4. Placing two additional posts enhances the support and distributes chewing forces better, which is particularly suitable for cases with poorer jawbone quality or a wider arch. The dentist will recommend the optimal solution for your specific condition.
3. Why is a Bar System necessary? Can I opt out of using it?
The Bar System (or titanium bar) plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term stability of the restoration. It helps distribute chewing forces evenly, reduces pressure on individual implant posts, thereby preventing complications and extending the lifespan of the entire system. We always recommend using the bar system for the best possible outcome.
4. How long does it take from the implant placement to receiving the final prosthesis (teeth)?
The total treatment time typically ranges from 3 to 6 months. Immediately after post placement, you will receive a temporary prosthesis (teeth) to use. This waiting period is necessary for the implant posts to achieve stable osseointegration with the jawbone before bearing the strong chewing forces of the final denture/bridge.
5. Do I need bone grafting when undergoing All-on-4/6?
| One of the major benefits of All-on-4/6 is that the implants are placed in areas with the best existing bone quality, meaning that bone grafting is unnecessary in most cases. This significantly reduces cost and shortens the treatment time. |
